A great opportunity, but we cannot build it without you!

The key to the TCC's future and long-term sustainability lies in the addition of a dedicated educational facility on our existing campus. It will provide an additional 4,400 square feet, purpose-built specifically for ceramics and outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. It will allow the TCC to increase their revenues to enable the hiring of full-time staff that is already a pressing concern. It will also help to keep the TCC a vital part of the Taos community, providing an important educational center and an active arts environment to drive more visitors, students, and families to Taos.

Why is this facility so important?

The Education Center will provide the TCC with the space and flexibility needed to expand  class offerings at least two-fold including more for school-age children, veterans, and adults. It will also allow for year-round workshops (currently limited to seasonal) that will attract artisans not only locally, but throughout the US. The TCC has already begun establishing relationships from coast to coast with many of the nation's leading ceramic artists who are anxiously awaiting our invitation to lead and attend workshops, create seminars, and provide speaking engagements. The facility will provide a much needed presentation space that will be suited to comfortably accommodate sixty+ attendees. The entire space will be ADA accessible with easy entry and an interior elevator for reaching the 2nd floor of the facility.

We need your help to make this a reality!

The building design is largely complete and the TCC is looking to begin site work by March of 2026. Over the course of 2025, we are seeking to raise $850,000, largely through private donation. A number of fundraising events are in the works that will begin this summer. A fund has already been established at the Centinel Bank of Taos for your much needed tax-deductible donations.

Tomorrow will be upon us before long. If you know the TCC and love what we have brought to the Taos community, we ask that you please consider making a tax-deductible donation, of any size, to help insure the TCC's future. For a $500 donation, buy an engraved 4x8 Paver Brick that will lead to our entrance and for $1,000, an engraved 8x8 Paver Brick.

For those interested in making a donation of $25,000 or greater, we have opportunities for the permanent naming of rooms in your honor or in memoriam for a loved one. Please contact us by phone or email for more information or to schedule a meeting to discuss. We most sincerely thank you for your consideration.

Should you have any doubt of our commitment...

just look at what the TCC has already accomplished in just its first 5 years:

The founders of the TCC privately funded the purchase of its two existing buildings totaling 5,600 square feet and the 1/4 acre lot that the Educational Center will be sited on. Two of the founders have each worked more than 60 hours a week, since inception, without compensation. In 2023, the TCC created a year-round Artist-in-Residency program for two artists that provides a well-equipped private studio and comfortable housing at well-below market value. The residents become part of the TCC and Taos communities sharing their knowledge in teaching opportunities and furthering their learning as they live amid Taos' arts-centric environment. The TCC is now hosting their 5th and 6th residents. In July of 2024, the TCC was officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization by the federal and state governments. The TCC ceramic supply store is the only one of its kind between Albuquerque and Denver servicing 450+ ceramic artists in northern NM and southern CO. And finally, the TCC Gallery is considered by many to be the finest ceramics exhibition center in the state of New Mexico and perhaps, throughout the entire southwest.

Can we count on you to help?
