KELSEY CHMIL
Kelsey played with clay for a hot minute at the U. of New Hampshire back in the day, then took an 8 year break before returning to the craft with TCC in 2021. Her favorite motifs and themes include outer space, animal bones, and plants. Her dearest projects combine hand-built sculptural elements to functional wheel-thrown forms for an eccentric take on everyday items. Just before her son, Milo, was born, she finished refurbishing an old tool shed into her home studio where she fiddles with decorative porcelain accents and plaster molds during nap time. Behind-the-scenes clips and updates of her work are best followed on her Instagram handle, @bluebronco.co.
