My wife, Monica, and I live part time in Taos and part time in Leadville, CO, where we own Aspen Traders, a Women’s Boutique. We enjoy biking, hiking and cross country skiing. I have been a serious hobby potter since college. I primarily make functional ware, most recently focusing on nesting bowl sets. I am also interested in stove top cookware

and have been making cone 10 “Flame On” cookware since 2011 based on recipes

from Ceramic Monthly. Recently I used the local mica clay to reline a fireplace in our

Taos House and am interested in using more mica clay for functional ware.
