How can I help support the TCC?

You may be surprised at just how often we have heard this question at the TCC! There are so many wonderful people in our midst and many who recognize both the need and benefit of having a community studio in Taos.

From mothers looking to introduce their children to creative play to octogenarians wanting to keep the play going, to all those of any age seeking an outlet from daily stress to the most serious of potters, the TCC plays a most important role.

The proprietors of the TCC did not undertake this venture with the intention of making money, and they have been proven right! This has been and continues to be a labor of love. In 2021, the TCC intends to begin the creation of a non-profit 501(c)3 to support all of its educational endeavors. Until such time, tax-deductible contributions can be made through our non-profit fiscal sponsor, the Taos Arts Council. If the deduction is of no consequence to you, donations are welcome direct to the TCC.

In response to those looking for a way to support our efforts, we have created 3 categories of Annual Sustaining Membership:

Mica Membership

With a donation of $50 to $249, you will become a TCC Mica Member and undoubtedly be a glimmering reflection of our organization. Along with our other sustaining members, you will be made aware of all upcoming events, gallery openings, workshops and classes in advance of our general mailing list.

Stoneware Membership

Durable, practical, and highly functional are the hallmarks of this class of clay and an appropriate title for this level of membership! For a donation of $250 to $999, Stoneware Members receive the benefits of Mica membership plus a complementary hand thrown stoneware coffee mug, and a 10% discount on all gallery offerings.

Porcelain Membership

Forever the most treasured of clays for its strength and angelic  luster, we thought it only fitting for our top tier Membership. With your gift of $1,000 or more you will become a Porcelain Member and enjoy all the benefits of a Stoneware Member plus a 15% discount at the TCC Gallery, a complimentary porcelain vase, and 10% off of all classes, workshops and active studio memberships.

While we hope to be recognized as a 501(c)(3) this year, we have not yet received this designation. Until we do, donations are not tax-deductible but they are still much appreciated!

Payments may be made by phone by credit card or you may mail a check made payable to:

Taos Ceramics Center, 114 Este Es Rd, Taos, NM 87571

or call us at 575.758.2580
