A founding member of Taos Ceramics Center, Ian developed a passion for ceramics in high school and completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2014. He completed a one year residency at Taos Clay in 2015 and moved back to Wisconsin, where he apprenticed for a year and a half with Simon Levin. Ian has shown at galleries and in jurried shows across the country, including Lillsteet Gallery, The Charlie Cummings Gallery, and the Strictly Functional Pottery Invitational, to name a few. He was recently included in the Working Potters issue of Ceramics Monthly. Ian is currently living and working in Taos, NM.
